2011 and 2013 Intensive Mosaic Workshops in Greece:
Working in White on the island of Paros
Our workshops created mosaic art on the Greek island of Paros, famous for its ancient quarries of white marble. The studio was located in the center of the pedestrian area on a small street filled with shops. We visited the island of Delos and saw magnificent ancient mosaics among the ruins. The workshop was a unique opportunity to work on a Greek island, using the famous Parian white marble – the same material that was used at the Acropolis. It was a wonderful week, filled with mosaic learning, history good food and good friends! (lots of images on this page – allow for slow load time)
